2013 Public Packages

In 2013 we offered four packages available for the public to purchase.

1. Morning and Afternoon Teas – with artists’ talks

Monday to Friday at 10 am and 3 pm.

Join us for a delicious pastry, sandwich or cake and a cup of tea or fabulous Island Coffee, and listen to one of the sculptors talk about their work and the exhibition, for no extra charge.

You can do the walk before or after your morning or afternoon tea. Allow 1.5 to 2 hrs for the walk, which is free.

$ 15 per person (Morning Tea and Afternoon Tea)

This includes the fare for the bus ($5.00) to take you from the Pavilion to the headland sculpture walk, which brings you directly back to the Pavilion / ferry.

2. Lunch – 7 days a week at 1 pm

Enjoy a delicious lunch from our Sculpture on the Gulf designer – Ana Swartz – runner-up TVNZ Masterchef 2012 – and prepared by French chef Nico Fini (Urban Escargot). Both Ana and Nico are Waiheke residents.

Plus music by Waiheke musicians between 12.30 and 2.30, free!

$ 30.00 per person

This includes the fare for the bus ($5.00) to take you from the Pavilion to the headland sculpture walk, which brings you directly back to the Pavilion / ferry.

You can do the walk before or after your lunch. Allow 1.5 to 2 hrs for the walk, which is free.

Numbers are limited. We recommend you book to make sure of your lunch.

World class wines are also available with lunch, from our selected Waiheke vineyards, Obsidian, Kennedy Point and Batch Winery, as well as artisan beers from Waiheke Island Brewery.

3. Wine Tasting – Mon to Fri, 4.00 and 4.45 pm.

Taste the wines from one of our four featured Waiheke vineyards.

Finish your afternoon walk with a wine tasting, or start your late afternoon walk with one. Allow 1.5 to 2 hrs for the walk, which is free.

$ 30.00 per person (numbers strictly limited)

This includes the fare for the bus ($5.00) to take you from the Pavilion to the headland sculpture walk, which brings you directly back to the Pavilion / ferry.

4. Twilight Walks – with light dinner, Thursdays to Saturdays

Catch the 5.30 or 6.30 pm ferry from Auckland, enjoy the sculpture walk in the cool of the early evening, then relax over dinner in the Pavilion watching the sun go down over Matiatia Bay. Allow 1.5 to 2 hrs for the walk.

Enjoy a choice of delicious light dinners or tapas from our Sculpture on the Gulf designer Ana Swartz – runner-up TVNZ Masterchef 2012 – and prepared by French chef Nico Fini. Both Ana and Nico are Waiheke residents.

$ 50.00 per head, including a choice of desserts, (numbers limited)

This includes the fare for the bus ($5.00) to take you from the Pavilion to the headland sculpture walk, which brings you directly back to the Pavilion / ferry.

Also enjoy local live music from 7.30 until 10, as well as the wines from our four award winning Waiheke vineyards, and fabulous Island Coffee.

The walk and entertainment are free!

Make an evening of it, and still be back in Auckland by 10.00 or 11.30 pm.
